Modern Moves Fitness & Dance Studio is founded and led by Trevon Newmann, a highly motivated and passionate trainer dedicated to helping people move better and feel stronger in their everyday lives.

Trevon is a certified kickboxing instructor, elite trainer, and bodybuilding specialist with extensive experience in personal training, corrective exercise, and online fitness coaching. Known for his positive energy and ability to motivate clients of all ages, Trevon brings a supportive, encouraging approach to every session—helping individuals build confidence while training safely and effectively.

In addition to fitness training, Trevon has a strong background in dance and movement instruction, focusing on both technique and creative expression. What's to be expected?

Expect a well paced session that’s challenging but not overwhelming. Workout sessions are 30 minutes while dance sessions are 60 minutes. Buy sessions ahead of time, in order to get your desired timeslot.Just show up ready to train!

How long until results can be measured?

While understanding that each person defines success differently, you can expect to begin seeing results within three to six months of starting and sticking to regular personal training sessions.

Do I need prior experience to train or dance at Modern Moves?

Not at all. Modern Moves welcomes beginners through advanced clients. Every session is customized to your experience level, comfort, and goals, so you can start exactly where you are.

What ages do you work with?

We work with both kids and adults. Programs are tailored to the individual, making sessions appropriate, safe, and enjoyable for all ages.

Are sessions private or group-based?

Modern Moves specializes in private, one-on-one sessions. Small group sessions may be offered by request or for special programs, workshops, or events.

Dance instruction includes hip hop, ballet, contemporary, partner dance, and wedding dance, with a focus on technique, expression, and confidence.

Is this a competitive or performance-focused studio?

No. Modern Moves is not a competitive studio. Our focus is personal growth, confidence, technique, and enjoyment of movement—not comparison or competition.

Can I do sessions online?

Yes. Online training options are available for fitness and select movement sessions, allowing you to train from home with expert coaching.

How long is each session?

Session length varies depending on your program and goals. Most sessions are scheduled in consistent time blocks and discussed during your consultation.

What should I wear to my session?
